The quality is high and like that it nearly lays flat on every page. It's well written and very fine paper. I am excited to use this to make adventures and write original stories!

First impressions mean a lot. I have the standard Core Set and as soon as I opened the box I was met with beautifully illustrated cover art. The quality of the books and cards is what is expected and the added double ribbon makes it look even better.

Technical stuff; I'm an older player (above 45) and mostly play with my kids. Having 4 that range from pre-teen to upper teen the balance of 'rules' versus 'fun' has always been a challenge. I play tested with my kids and found that the mechanics of this game don't get in the way of the fun. I have always GM'd a 'rules lite' game for them and this fits our table well. There is (in my opinion) the proper amount of foundation that you can build on. The addition of the cards makes tracking abilities so mush simpler for a 10 or 11 year old that scrolling through an app to find it. they can just say, 'I wanna to this' and point to it.

As a GM having all the rules (for both player and GM) in one book makes it so much simpler. Also, the Session Zero purpose especially with building the map is probably my favorite part. I GM in a semi-sandbox world. I don't plan more than one session ahead and I let the player dictate where we go. I know you can do all this with other TTRPGs but this fresh look and feel makes it much more fun.

As I said previously, I play tested this with my players and we had a blast. We look forward to so many more adventures!

Love the colors and design. It fits all of my dice and it can still fit more if needed.

I ordered the base set and I am absolutely captivated by it. Everything looks pristine. The cards are exceptional in feel and the pages of the book are excellent. So far I have only read the first chapter and I can't wait to get through the book.

As a GM, I loved the mechanics of Daggerheart. I preordered my set and was excited to have better tangibles in hand for myself and my players. While I knew the art would be incredible, it was actually as big of a deal as the whole new system being in my hands was. I am stunned by the work and beauty in this set. I am so proud to have a first edition.

The minute I heard the pre-order was available I purchased the Limited Edition set. Not just because I'm a Critter and believe strongly in all your work, even the stuff I'm not personally in to (because it still drips with quality and love). Not just because I believe strongly in the product because you've shown us every step of the way what the vision has been and that you were truly designing this thing the right way with community feedback. But also because I want to send a message with my dollars (greetings from the capitalist hellscape) that a company with heart and virtues not only has a place in this market, but can dominate it.

Even with that level of expectation I was completely blown away by what I saw when I opened it up.

I'm the kind of guy that gets emotional when I see a good film, animated series, or live stream. Not always directly because of the story itself, but because I'm a sucker for beautifully executed art. I become overwhelmed by feelings of vicarious pride in the craft. You know, just screaming on the inside, "You did it guys!" You did the thing and you did it so well that experiencing it feels momentus, and profound.

I've felt that way many times watching your content and it is exactly how I felt when I saw that no stone was left unturned when it came to ensuring the physical quality of every object in this set. The feeling then reverberates through every page and every card. From the art, to the emphatic insistence on inclusive play, to the very rules design itself proving the priority here is sharing stories with your friends.

So be proud you guys, you did the thing!

This book is so detailed, and helpful for a fledging dm. I love this book and all the other critical role books I've bought.

The system itself is flame-grilled excellence. Me and my friends have had a great time learning and playing it. We’re about 60 sessions in (started in beta) and we’re all hooked like a Blue Marlin on a piece of string cheese. The encouragement for creativity while providing a strong framework to keep things cohesive is what I find really helps set Daggerheart apart. Also, allowing me to make a ninja turtle dragon with a peg leg is awesome.
While my group all play via a VTT, having the hard copy is very handy, like having a retired contractor for a neighbor. The book is well made and the card decks are not just amazing functionally, but also look sick as hell.
Overall a great thing you guys have created and I could not be happier with it.

Daggerheart is inspiration for me. As someone who wanted to write an TTRPG with index cards as a primary source of play this was a dream come true. More than likely daggerheart will become my preferred system to play with new people. The ease of use and the creative building of a world with others is a brilliant idea. I see all the various steps in going from people who write shows, now writing a book and how to do that in a game. I wish the team that designs daggerheart good luck in any endeavors and it in expansions for the game if they emerge.

Honestly the best item I could ever ask for. I was having such a bad day at work and when I saw the package 📦 on the table I opened it up and found little kiri sitting there. Not realizing that she talked! I thought it was just a little stuffed doll of kiri, so hearing the qoutes from the players Honestly made my night 100% better. This is well made and I am so happy to have it!
